KMTA National Heritage Area is seeking stories from the people that live, work and play in the KMTA area. We are interested in learning more about the local history of the area by asking community members to share some of theirs! This is a perfect opportunity to dig out some old photo albums (or old hard drives) and find some gems as well as tell us some of the stories from you or your family’s past.

Below you will find a link to a questionnaire that will hopefully help you jog your memory. Feel free to answer as many of the questions as you are able. Some questions that we are asking include:

  • Tell us about how you (or your family) enjoy the natural resources of the KMTA area? (Fishing, hunting, berry picking etc.)
  • What is a special story or moment that is a part of your family’s history in the KMTA area?

We will be using the stories and photos gathered for a social media campaign that will be shared on Facebook, Instagram, in our e-newsletter and on our website. All content will be sent to you for approval before it is shared!

Thanks for your time and please share this with those that would be interested!
