Want to make sure your application has the best chance of being selected? Request feedback on your project proposal from a KMTA staff member by February 20, 2023 and we will commit to reviewing and providing advice before the official due date. This is optional (not required) for those that would like an initial review to help strengthen their applications before they are submitted to our board for final review.  

If you’d like to get initial feedback before the grant period closes, please email your questions and/or draft application to jessawest@kmtacorridor.org  

 Applications submitted after this date will still be considered, but no feedback from KMTA will be provided.

Applicants may only apply for one type of KMTA grant per year. Grantees that currently have open multi-year grants may apply for a new grant for a different project. However, applicants without current open grants will be prioritized.

GRANT APPLICATION STEPS: 

Step 1: Review the different types of grants KMTA offers and select which one best aligns with your project.

Step 2: Review Grants Eligibility Criteria to ensure you qualify.

Step 3: Refer to the Application Materials section below to determine the specific documents required to apply for the grant type you’ve selected.

Step 4: Download and complete the Grant Application and Budget Worksheet, and assemble any additional materials required (e.g., Letters of Support).

Step 5: When all components of your application are complete, use the “Submit Application” button at the bottom of this page to submit your application.
