DESCRIPTION: Providing four fun, immersive, and educational experiences in the KMTA National Heritage Area, including trail building for the Iditarod National Historic Trail and backpacking expeditions on Johnson Pass, Resurrection Pass, and Lost Lake to Primrose. These expeditions aim to connect Alaskan teens to their communities and their public lands while learning fundamental backpacking, earth systems science, and stewardship ethics through direct experience.
